Work History

This page is designed to be more playful than a pitch to professionalism, because hopefully an idea of how I conduct myself was conveyed within resume/cover letter, examples of work, or on one of my external profiles.

That said, I take my work seriously and with the utmost pride although believe it's only worth working with people that appreciate reasons to laugh and smile while rolling up their sleeves. Enjoy!!

2015 - 2026

Co-Founder / Software Implementation Consultant

Co-Founding IoEworX, gave lessons not only that developed my professional expertise but also created a new chapter of personal goals. My role consisted of everything from tidying the office to taxes and all in between although the primary focus is always ensuring highest-quality deliverables to our customers.

Regularly, I led teams of senior technical deployment specialists in creating systems with many moving parts for various uses cases driven by clients. I also leveraged a conglomerate of different technologies into day-to-day operations, set up an international distribution hub that received and shipped hazardous materials, and generated custom documentation used from pre to post-sale.

Professional Services Manager

My 3 months at Closets by Design, as a second job, provided the opportunity to validate an ability to oversee two installation managers, a fleet of 16 vans and over 30 installers, while handling more than 50 residential installations each week. This role challenged me to navigate and resolve previous engagements that required attention, ultimately leading me to make the decision to resign. While it was a demanding experience, I learned important lessons in leadership and adaptability that I will carry with me onto my future endeavors.

2012 - 2015

Project & Warehouse Manager

Facility Care Services & Mod Squad were two separate entities owned by husband and wife and created to segment branches of the business that serviced different customers. My employment also went through two phases before parting ways to start IoEworX Corporation. I gained valuable insights into the corporate and product distribution environments and interacted with project owners as their primary liaison as well as furthered my knowledge of project management. This opportunity allowed me to identify that my passion is developing systems for efficiency, learn about the project management lifecycles according to PMP guidelines, refine my writing skills, utilize Human Resources minor while transitioning a team into new roles, and understand the nuances of account ownership beyond sales and service.

Director of Operations

I left FCS for about 8 months to take a position with Banning IT Services that was a start-up SDVOSB I facilitated through an acquisition to provide service for its VA contracts. This opportunity allowed me to couple my knowledge of communications technology, field service, learn about passive RFID and barcodes, and collaborate with executives.

2007 - 2011

Project Manager (in training)

For about 6 months I worked for Manning Group that in the process of growing from commercial FF&E installations company to obtaining a Techno certified dealership credentials with a small fleet of box trucks, vans, and service trucks. I left this position to move from MST to CST and get closer to family but the brief employment in a growing small business left a lasting impact on me.

Order Processing and Picker

I temporarily worked at Amazon's first fulfillment center in Arizona after experiencing of a lay off due to the dissolution of an organization. This exposure to large scale distribution and order processing in a 1,000,000 sq ft facility with hundreds of thousands of shipments in/out bound each week eventually proved useful when co-founding IoEworX.

Lead Installer / Project Manager

Plateau Office Systems offered a spring board into operations from mainly having a sales and support foundation. This position allowed me to grow from the ground up and develop an ability to transfer technical know-how into articulating complexities of turnarounds that spanned a depth of stakeholders. Near the end of my employment here is when I decided to finish go back to college.

2005 - 2007

B2B Sales Rep / Territory Manager

Originally starting with Millennium 3 Technologies aka M3T in Nevada, I work toward a relocation and cultivated skills that allowed shifting from mostly a B2C background into B2B. Transitioning to its Arizona headquarters gave my first opportunity to experience managing others remotely.

2004 - 2005

Account Manager

GroGreen inspired my love for horticulture and customer satisfaction. These two were coupled in my mind because one is synonymous to the other...having a pretty lawn and landscape = happy client. Even to this day neighbors ask about my yard from the hard skills developed in my position but the soft skills are just as important. This position laid the framework required to succeed in customer success roles.

2002 - 2004

Entrepreneur Mentorship

Immediately after high school I took a job with a boss and mentor while deciding if I was going to start college. I was taught what it took to hold a career in entrepreneurship at Plano Custom Golf while still being employed full time with a corporate rep position at International Trucks. Needless to say, my boss wasn't there all the time and someone had to take the responsibility of building clubs, itemizing inventory, and timely order fulfillment. My favorite experience from this period was an opportunity to drive a 911 Turbo GT3 owned by a client that trusted me enough with it before I was 20 years old.

2001

Jack of All - Master of None

While still in high school I worked the next summer and winter for ProTurf Landscapes. My job consisted of maintaining lawn mowing equipment, installing landscapes, light management of both crews, and treating lawns with herbicides. This opportunity led to the position with GroGreen and gave a chance to expand my Spanish fluency beyond an elementary level as well as first exposure to reading blueprints. It was certainly the spark that fueled my curiosity in developing a broad skill set instead of a focus in one specific field.

2000

Associate

The first job I held was with Party City. Experiences ranged from closing up shop, stocking items, customer service, and entering the workforce. Essentially, it paid for my RX7 while in high school...and kept me out of too much trouble.
